Chimgan Ski Resort
Chimgan Ski Resort is the most popular ski resort in Uzbekistan. The resort was built in 1981 and is designed for mass recreation. The trails are mostly ‘red’ and ‘blue’ with a length of up to 1,500 m. The chairlift is 800 m long, with a drop of 385 m. Lifting time ~ 10 min. Towelift (‘mop’) – length 570 m, drop 250 m. Lifting time is 10 minutes.
Currently, a master plan for the reconstruction of the resort is ready with the construction of modern infrastructure, hotels, restaurants, a snow and bike park, an extended zipline and a viaferrate.It will be an all-season holiday resort. The highlight of the resort will be the highest-altitude cable car in Central Asia with an altitude difference from 1,500 to 3,300 m above sea level.
