Visa to Uzbekistan through the embassy
Obtaining a tourist visa to Uzbekistan through the embassy consists of two stages:
Obtaining visa support (permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, hereinafter the Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
Obtaining a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in exceptional cases, obtaining a visa at the airport.
Visa support for a tourist visa to Uzbekistan
Visa support is a kind of authorization for issuing a tourist visa to Uzbekistan. It is issued by a travel agency licensed by the National Company Uzbektourism and submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. The document is considered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within 7 working days. After the review period expires, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sends the permit by telex to the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where the tourist plans to obtain a visa. The travel agency informs the tourist about the issuance of visa support and informs the tourist of the telex number. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has every right to refuse to issue a permit without providing any reasons for the refusal.
If you have not found your citizenship in the lists of countries with visa-free entry to Uzbekistan and e-visa entry, then you need to get visa support and apply for a visa at the embassy.
We will be happy to provide you with visa support for obtaining a tourist visa to Uzbekistan, provided that you purchase a tour of Uzbekistan through our company.
Please keep in mind that you also have to pay the consular fees at the Embassy or Consulate when applying for a visa. The amount of consular fees ranges from 40 to 200 USD, depending on your nationality and the length of your stay.
Information for visa support
To provide visa support, please fill out the online visa support form and send us a copy of your passport by fax or as an attachment. In some cases, a certificate from the place of work is required.
After we receive the full information from you, we will arrange visa support and submit it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tashkent for consideration. After receiving permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will send you a telex number by e-mail.
Getting a visa at the embassy
After you receive the telex number, you can submit a visa application with one passport-size photo to the Embassy or Consulate by taking your passport, telex number and paying the consular fees.
You can download the official application for an Uzbek tourist visa on the website: visa.mfa.uz . This application is accepted in all embassies and consulates of Uzbekistan.
Visa to Uzbekistan upon arrival at Tashkent airport
Only citizens of those countries that do not have a consulate or embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, or citizens who do not have enough time to obtain a visa at the consulate or embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan at their location, can obtain a visa at the airport of Tashkent (upon presentation of an air ticket confirming the date of departure to Uzbekistan in the near future).
