Zaamin - Uzbek Switzerland
Zaamin is a huge protected area in the Zaamin and Bakhmali districts of the Jizzakh region, located in the foothills of the Turkestan and Malguzar ranges.
The unique nature of Zaamin is protected by the Zaamin National Nature Park and the Zaamin Mountain Juniper Reserve.
Zaamin is perhaps the most popular and rapidly developing tourist cluster in Uzbekistan today.
Zaamin was a popular holiday destination and natural resort before, thanks to its almost untouched nature, boundless juniper forests, and clear rivers.
Literally over the past 2 years, several comfortable hotels have been built here, including a world-class Windham international chain complex, a 2,100 m long gondola cable car with a capacity of 1,200 tourists per hour, with a multi-storey car park, and two restaurants. But the most popular place was a 300-meter pedestrian bridge with glass inserts, spanning the deep gorge of the Chortanga Canyon. From the bridge, daredevils can make jumps in style
Transport accessibility has also improved. Now it is possible to fly to Zaamin regional center by L-410 planes from Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara.
In Zaamin, tourists will definitely not have to be bored here, because everyone can:
