Sculptural composition "Mistress of the Copper Mountain"

In the heart of the Central Park of Ferghana, there is one of the most striking and memorable urban sculptures — the composition "Mistress of the Copper Mountain", inspired by the tales of Pavel Bazhov. This is a modern art object that has become a real decoration of the city and a favorite vacation spot for residents and guests.

The sculpture group depicts the majestic mistress of the underground riches — the Mistress of the Copper Mountain — and the young master Danila, looking with awe at the magic stone in his hands. The figures are made of metal and covered with a golden finish, so that the composition shines in the sun and looks especially impressive in the evening lighting. The pedestal is decorated with decorative elements symbolizing crystals and ore veins, which gives the whole work a feeling of mythicness and depth.

The installation appeared in the late 2010s and quickly became a new symbol of Ferghana. Her artistic idea combines the realism of the form with the atmosphere of a fairy tale — the image of the Mistress of the Copper Mountain, although originally from the Urals, has acquired a new meaning here: it recalls the craftsmanship, natural resources and hard work of the people of the Ferghana Valley.

Today, the composition is perceived as a symbol of beauty, inspiration and harmony. Newlyweds stop here to take wedding photos, and tourists come to admire the sparkling figure and feel the atmosphere of the legend. Due to its grace and energy, sculpture has become not just a decorative element, but a part of the cultural image of modern Fergana.
