Kyzyl-Kala Fortress
A few kilometers from Toprak-Kala there is another fortress — Kyzyl-Kala, which was found at the beginning of the 20th century. Its ruins were carefully examined, and the study of a large number of historical archives of that time allowed scientists to recreate the history of the heroic defense of the fortress and the death of its defenders.
In memory of these tragic events of antiquity, she was given the name "Bloody Fortress". There is a legend that two fortresses Toprak-Kala and Kyzyl-Kala are connected by an underground passage. This may be true, but no one has managed to find him yet.
