Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh

There is a small Christian church on the sparsely populated Sakkokiy street. The building was built by Poles in 1897. Previously, it housed a Catholic church. In 1952, the church was given to the Orthodox community and consecrated in the name of Sergius of Radonezh.

The beautiful three-tiered iconostasis was painted by the famous artist Maria Sokolova and is a copy of the iconostasis located in the Trinity Cathedral of St. Sergius Lavra.

The church opens its doors to parishioners every day, and solemn festive services are held here. On ordinary days, you can enjoy the peace and quiet, as well as venerate a piece of the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
