Chakar and Toron Bazaar Mosques

The Chakar Mosque was built on the site of an old, dilapidated religious building. Only the summer part of the building has been preserved, which is a closed ivan with columns on three sides. The ceiling paintings are peculiar, divided by beams into rectangular ceiling lights, each of which contains images of original vases with bouquets of flowers on a green or red background. The high figured cornice of the ivan has a floral ornament - shamrocks with red flowers. The elegant combination of colors and decorative compositions of the ceiling lights are an example of the applied art of the folk craftsmen of Ferghana.

The Toron Bazaar Mosque was built at the end of the 19th century next to the city market. It is distinguished by its modest decor. In 1936, the mosque was renovated and turned into a Dehkan's House.
