Monument to Alisher Navoi in Gulistan

The monument to Alisher Navoi is one of the central decorations of the city of Gulistan and an important symbol of the national culture of Uzbekistan. The monument was erected in honor of the great poet, thinker and statesman Alisher Navoi (1441-1501), who played a huge role in the development of Uzbek literature and language.

The monument is located in one of the main squares of the city, not far from the administrative and cultural buildings. Today, the monument to Alisher Navoi in Gulistan is not only an architectural decoration of the city, but also a place of cultural memory, where literary evenings, school events and public holidays are held.
