Lake Fazilman
The small lake Fazilman, with an area of about 1 hectare, is located in the Navoi region on a plateau among the Nuratau mountains. Its southern shore serves as the border with the Jizzakh region. Freshwater lake. The height of the reservoir, measuring 300x150 m, is more than 1600 m above sea level. Its depth does not exceed 1.5 m and only lake frogs live in it.
The Fasilman is powered by underground sources and precipitation, and it dries up periodically. During the migration period, flocks of wild geese stop to rest on the lake. Due to its scenic beauty against the backdrop of mountain peaks, the lake is included in tourist routes. A one-day trekking takes place from the mountain village of Sentyab to the lake.
