Lake Arashan
Lake Arashan is one of the most picturesque mountain lakes in Uzbekistan, located at an altitude of about 2,200 meters above sea level in the foothills of the Chatkal range, near the village of Namangan. This place is famous for its wild natural beauty, clear water and peaceful atmosphere.
The lake is surrounded by steep cliffs and coniferous forests, which are reflected in the mirrored surface of the water. This makes it seem as if it is enclosed in a stone bowl filled with the sky. The water in the lake is clear, with a bluish-green tint, and the temperature remains cool even in summer.
The surroundings of Arashan are a popular destination for hiking, picnics and outdoor recreation. Here you can find rare plant species and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Arashan mineral springs, known for their healing properties, are also located near the lake.
The path to the lake passes through a picturesque mountain valley with stormy streams and pastures, which makes the trip to it no less impressive than staying on the shore itself.
