Hazrati Dovud Cave
The Hazrati Dovud cave is not only a tourist attraction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, but also a place of pilgrimage for thousands of Muslims from all over the world, not only Central Asia. According to legend, the cave cavity appeared when King David, hiding from enemies, needed shelter.
At the very entrance to Hazrati Dovud, there are two huge indentations shaped like footprints from giant human knees, and indentations resembling fingerprints are clearly visible on the side walls. Getting to the cave is not so easy — it is located at an altitude of 1250 meters, you will have to overcome 1303 steps.
