A. S. Pushkin Park

Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin Park is one of the most beloved and well—groomed corners of Gulistan, which has become a real symbol of relaxation and green tranquility in the city center. It is located near the main streets and is considered the heart of the cultural life of the capital of the Syrdarya region.

The park was founded in the Soviet years and eventually turned into a cozy area for walks, meetings and family vacations. Shady alleys are laid throughout the territory, benches, fountains and flower beds are installed, and in summer children's laughter and the sounds of music can be heard in the park.

City events, concerts, literary evenings and celebrations dedicated to the birthday of the great Russian poet, whose name the park bears, are often held here. In the shade of the trees there is a bust of Alexander Pushkin, which has become one of the business cards of Gulistan.
