Chodra Hovli Tower

This ensemble is the most beautiful palace of the Khiva Khan dynasty. The masterpiece of medieval art has preserved the authentic architecture, which has since disappeared. It was built in the 18th century, but it still enchants every visitor.

It consisted of towers of individual construction made of clay blocks, stalls for selected long-legged trotters, warehouses located on the ground floor, living rooms on the second and third floors, including the khan and his chambers. The Khovli Chadra Palace was built by order of the ruler of Khiva.

The women were allocated an entire floor, the fourth, which housed the female half of the Khan dynasty. Traditionally, the Chadra hovli palace was surrounded by magnificent gardens, where you could hide from the summer heat and enjoy a cool oasis on a stuffy evening in the afternoon.

This fascinating landmark of the city is becoming one of the main attractions of the city.

Being one of the famous destinations of Khiva, this complex is included in the list of interesting places of this ancient city.
